Imprecision about storing float values

Hey, I was going through Lecture 1 online now and I noticed something interesting. They are speaking about how when you program something like
'float answer = 1.0 / 10.0'
you get a result like 0.10000000149011611938. Obviously the answer to that is .1. I understood the explanation that assigned computer memory cannot represent infinite values but I still dont understand how this leads to a number greater then .1

Any Ideas?
