Open Study Session (Berkeley)

  • This location is shown only to members

If you're studying programming during the week and want some company, come meet at a cafe in Berkeley.

This is a self-directed study session with no scheduled plan or leader. Just bring whatever tutorials, books, courses, or projects that you're working on. I'll probably be working on Django, JavaScript, or Scheme.

Sometimes it's easier to stay focused if a specific time is scheduled for studying.

There is no fixed duration for the meetup -- I'll be there for about 3 hours.

By the way, you can login to the IRC room on Freenode #codeselfstudy jf you want to share what you're working on or have questions -- I'm usually in the chatroom in the background whenever I'm online.

    Or click here:

I like the idea, but I wonder if we could find a less needed-for-revenue-generation (what is the word I want here?) spot for it.

Hi Anna, Here's my idea for hackspaces without bad coffee and bad music . . .

I haven't arrived yet, but it was fine the last time I was there a day or two ago.

      Internet seems good today.

I may be about five minutes late getting to Berkeley. There are some larger tables along the wall to the right side when you walk in -- by the power outlets. See you soon.
