I hope you get well soon. And yes, I hope to run this again, it will depend on how many people will be interested in it. There's an intro to F# next Sat. We have Phil Trelford from UK who looks after the F# group as well as taking part in many game jams, and even was a judge at one of the ones we ran for GameCraft. Andrea from BatCat will be helping out as well. So you will be in good company to learn some functional programming. :-)

Please let us know how you want us to help you out? The set up is so we can get straight into the workshop as 4 hours is very short. Setting up (as we experienced in past workshops) take up a lot of workshop's time.

If you want an introduction to Python itself, I am planning to run one on a weekday evening either end of this month or in August. This will be 2.5 hours.

You are also very welcome to join the forum to ask and talk about things like this:

If you need help, please ask here, forum, on twitter, Facebook page, or even email me directly at [masked]

Where would I get a free download of "Python and PyGame" ???

Please go to the event page, it has all the links to the download pages. If you are using linux or mac osx, you don't need to download Python. If you are using Windows, you will need to download Python (if it's not installed already).
