Allen’s is a really nice restaurant on the Danforth with really great food and a great serene patio which I am hoping we will be able to sit on weather and space permitting. We have been to Allen’s on a couple of different occasions now and each time the food has been excellent. On the brunch menu (which may not be on their website) they have things like egg frittata, eggs Benedict, eggs Florentine, brioche French toast, and pancakes. I had the pancakes previously an they were excellent. I also had homemade breakfast sausages previously and they were also very good. The restaurant also has some of the best hamburgers in the best in the city, albeit huge.
We usually go to this restaurant twice a year – once for St. Patrick’s Day since I think it is the best Irish restaurant in Toronto, and once during the summer because their outside dining is among the nicest in the city. (I'm hoping we'll get a chance to sit outside.) Overall, this is one of my favourite restaurant destinations.
The address of the restaurant is:
