Lunch at Pantheon in Greektown

The Pantheon is a great Greek restaurant in Greektown on The Danforth. I was there recently and had the chicken souvlaki which was excellent. The restaurant also specializes in seafood, and they even have a fishkebob soulvaki of shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms. One of the restaurants specials is grilled calamari, but shrimp, cod, orange roughy, and salmon also are on their extensive seafood menu. Several entrees of grilled meats also are on the menu, one of which is a grill mix of lamb, chicken, and homemade sausage. The restaurant also has a wide selection of Greek appetizers and dips. This should be a great Greek dining experience.

The address of the restaurant is:
407 Danforth
Toronto, ON M4K 1P1
PH: (416)[masked]

TTC Directions:
Subway to Chester. Then walk east on Danforth to the restaurant, which is less than a block away from the subway station.

Billing - No individual bills:
Please note that there will NOT be individual bills for this event. Most likely, we will be at tables of 6 and there will be one bill for the table. Please remember to add approximately 30% to the menu price to cover tax and tip for what you order. For example, if your dish is $20 on the menu, you need to put in $26.

Meetup fee:
There is a $1 per person Meetup fee for this event.

Meetup Etiquette:
If you RSVP “yes” and change your mind about attending, please update your RSVP.
Those who RSVP “yes” are expected to show up.
You are expected to be at the event on time. In situations where you are late and the restaurant is full, your seat will be given away and not held, so please be on-time.
Attendance will be taken at all events and “no shows” will be tracked.
A person may be removed from the group for repeatedly being a “no show”.
A person who changes their RSVP to “no” with less than 3 hours before the start of an event without a good reason will be considered a “no show”.
A person who just briefly shows up at the event but does not stay at the restaurant for the meal will still be considered a “no show”.

Good place and really liked the chicken souvaki. In response to the comment about the separate bills, the Meetup description did specifically say that there would not be individual bills for the event.

Nice to meet & welcome new members. Separate bills would be been preferred. Alternatively, a waiter who was better at math - adding cc to cash payments - would have made it easier when reconciling against the check.

The food was pretty good; I would go back. The service was very fast considering we were a big group.

We would have loved to be at this event but have already committed ourselves to another event. Will this one be repeated later on...I really love this place and it's been so long since we've had a greek luncheon.

I can't make it to this event but have been to this restaurant before and it is REALLY good! Get their meat platter and their honey cake.

I've been there many times and have taken many guests there. Everyone always loves it. OPA! I've gone to almost all of them on Danforth and it's my favorite.

Been there once. Quality of the food is not bad. Make sure you order small or medium of the plates as the dishes could be pretty full for an average tummy.
