Hi, My name is Gwen and I just moved here from San Antonio Tx where I was very involved in meet up. The group there that I was most involved with was the Coffee group.
Meeting people and interesting conversation is always a good thing but I also love to eat and try new foods........or savor some of my old favorites.
yes, I dont know the area that well yet but the Alibi helps
I did not know that but I discovered meet up about 4 years ago and with my vagabond lifestyle it has been a life saver
I had come home to get ready for work after taking my children to school. I turned the tv on to listen to the news as I always did and there was a movie on showing a plane crashing into the world trade center. I thought that was not funny but wow, sure was realistic........wait, is this really happening. I went on to work in horror and we all were glued to the news as it unfolded. I picked my children up from school and we went out to a diner for dinner and talked about what had happened, what was still happening........none of us will ever forget it.
Welcome to the Albuquerque Inetrnational Meetup Gwen.
I hope you had a ood time today at the Marigold Parade.
HI GWEN, GLAD TO HEAR YOU'VE HAD GOOD EXPERIENCES WITH THESE GROUPS ELSEWHERE...I'VE BEEN HERE IN ABQ FOR 20 YRS AND JUST JOINED UP HERE ...PERHAPS MEET YOU AT AN EVENT SOON...
Hi Gwen. Good to hear from you. I'm going to an ABQ meetup next Saturday--it'll be the first one I attend. My daughter is back home with me and we visited San Antonio over Christmas break. We had a great time. I went to the coffee group's New Year's Day brunch at the Menger Hotel. I got back to ABQ in mid-October and am enjoying being back in my house, but I do miss San Antonio.
Hi Gwen. Are you in Albuquerque? How is it going? Are you happy to be back? - Steffanie
