RE: [coffee-397] How do CT Members leave a Meet Up Group?

Thanks Mike,

I didn’t have a “membership and communications link”, so maybe some other members don’t either.  I have to use this method to leave a group.

1)      Select the group I want to leave from “My Groups”

2)      Go to Members “My Profile”

3)      Right under my name is “leave group”

Is there anyone that would want to leave a Meet Up Group

but you do not know how to?

That also includes leaving the
Coffee Talk Up Group.

If Coffee Talk is not your cup of coffee and you want to leave, then

It does not make any difference to me if you leave this group.

It does bother me to see those who have not come to this group link
For over 1 year.
If you cannot come to this account within 1 year, then you must not
be interested in this account in the first place.
After 1 year, it might not say so in Meet Up, but as far as I am
Concerned you are Inactive member of the Coffee Talk.
Unless you are having computer problem, then just leave.

If someone does not visit this account for 1 year and you become
Inactive, then I will delete you.
This is a Meet Up Social Group.
If you do not come to the link, then why are you in this
Meet Up group in the first place?

You are wasting my time.
You are wasting the time of the rest of the group.
You are wasting your own time being in a Meet Up Group that you are
Not really interested or involved in.

How do I leave a Meetup Group?

1. Click 'Account' on the top-right of any screen.
2. Click 'Membership and Communications'.
3. Scroll down to the name of the Meetup Group you want to leave.
4. Click 'Leave this group.'
You'll get no further email communication from that Group, and your profile will be removed.

Want to delete your entire Meetup account?
1. Click 'Account' on the top-right of any screen.
2. Click 'Remove yourself from'
3. Enter your password and click
You'll be unsubscribed from every Meetup and all your profiles will be removed.

Think carefully.
Maybe it is time for you to leave because after 1 year then I will delete you.
There are other groups that would delete you after only two weeks of not
Going to their Meet Up link.
