This group is for anyone who loves to walk, hike, trek or climb mountains.
We love to walk around Sydney's spectacular coast line and also enjoy wonderful walks in other states and countries.
All types of walkers are catered for, with:
Half day walks in Sydney, that are usually 10 km or less,
Full day walks that cover at least 20 kms and can be used as training for multi-day walks,
Inn to inn multi-day walks and
For those that like a bit more adventure self-reliant multi-day back packing where you carry your own tent, food, etc.
A little bit about me: I love walking! I've completed the entire Camino de Santiago from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela twice, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, hiked the Great Ocean Walk, parts of the Heysen trail, and I'm equally happy leading a social walk around Sydney or supporting others to step out of their comfort zone! I don't worry about the weather much as I believe all you need is the right clothing and a positive attitude. I'm passionate about safety and remaining injury free and I'm happy to say that all the people I have trained for the Camino de Santiago have completed it without any of the usual physical problems that people suffer from, such as blisters and tendonitis.
