Introduction

Hello, I am looking for a chess group to start playing chess again. I haven't played actively in quite a while, and do not have a rating of any kind. Would like to find similar players within my ability level, and make friends.

How long have you been playing chess?

lets see through middle and highschool, early in college, then life got in the way ( job, marriage then divorce, other stuff etc.) just getting back into it now, as a matter of choice.

Have you ever played in a league or been rated? If yes, do you know your approximate chess rating?

Never been in a league or club.

What's your favorite coffee drink (if you have one)?

umm.. just regular coffee, maybe a capuccino sometimes. At home I brew either Guatamalan or Sumatra roast. I like coffee dark and strong.

Whereabouts in Phoenix do you live (Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Central Phoenix, North Phoenix, etc)? This will help us to hopefully set up a chess meetup closer to you.

I live in Tempe, near ASU.
