I wouldnt mind helping organize a gathering at the willow house! but it would have to be after 3pm cause I always watch the nascar races when I get it on tv! and this unday it starts at 10:30am and goes till 3pm. some sundays it doesnt start till 1p or 1:30p and sometimes they do night races. So maybe a saturday would be better I dont know. I just noticed that you put it on the calendar for 2pm. I wont be able to make it till 3pm tho or around there.

Hello everyone!

As I'm sure you all have noticed, there isn't a chess meetup currently on
the schedule for this coming weekend (yet). This is due to the unfortunate
fact that both Chris Tingom and I will be out of town all weekend and I
wasn't sure what to do...

We've been throwing around some ideas lately, and Andy and Greg want to
organize a fixed location, regular chess meetup at the Coffee Plantation in
Scottsdale (alongside the roaming ones). Their chess meetup will be at 2PM
on Saturday (instead of Sunday), and I will be adding it to the calendar
here soon.

I like the idea of having the next roaming chess meetup at the Willow house,
and it sounds like a lot of you are cool with that, but I'm going to need a
volunteer to help organize it since I won't be here this weekend. Any
takers? I'll go ahead and add it to the calendar for 2PM on this coming
Sunday so that everyone knows about it.
