Session Components

1. Rapid Fire Pitches

2. Startup Presentations (15 minutes)

Startups at this part have five minutes to pitch their business.  Then they receive investor feedback and answer audience questions afterwards.

3. Product Demo

Got an impressive product? Use our platform to showcase it! You'll get to do this at the beginning of the event. Purchase a demo ticket in the ticket sale area above.

4. Audience Vote

At the end of the event, audience will vote which startup (rapid fire pitches) is their favorite. The winner will proceed to do a full pitch to a new panel at Februrary's event.

It was a wonderful gathering. Was my first time at NYEBN - liked some of the creative businesses! Thanks Andrew!

Andrew, you know how to throw a party! I was torn between UPlanMe and Bar & Club Stats (I think "BarCodes" would be a catchier name btw). All the ideas were great as were the people! Thanks Andrew!

Yup, UPlanMe won. I've uploaded the intuitive graph (bar chart) that I shared with the room at the end of the session last night. It's now in the photo section of this event. Feel free to check it out. UPlanMe will proceed to do a full-length pitch at NYU on 2/23.

This was an excellent meetup and I only hope that next time, there is more time for audience Q&A. Not many elevator pitches were thought out well enough and so a lot of great ideas could go overlooked due to poor presentations. However, what a turnout! Great people, two companies blew my hair back, and I made a 20k investment which I'm sure will grow exponentially in the next 18 months!

Pros: Very informative; lot's of creative minds in one room; great learning experience; diverse crowd of investors and creators.

Cons: Very rushed presentations which left no time for Q&A; No intermission in a hot room.

Thanks, Artem and Maria. Thanks to all for stopping by last night. We had a group of very engaged and curious audience. Please do put your two cents in about how you feel regarding this new Battlefield concept, format, the actual implementation, etc. With your input, I think we can continually improve, further differentiate ourselves, become the go-to place for more and more Silicon Alley startups, and thus help build the entire ecosystem in New York. Thanks! -arw

The names of those who register on Eventbrite don't appear here. Either site works fine for NYEBN event registration. I checked and did find your name. So just bring your ticket and you'll be fine.

I purchased a ticket through eventbrite when you were trying to get people to purchase there a little while back. it still holds too, right? Because I don't appear here in the list as a result, but I do have a receipt. Should I bring it with me?
