Our 6pm (US ET) talk on Thursday Apr 8 will be a "Know your tools: Productivity Tips-n-Tricks for CFEclipse and ColdFusion Builder", with Marc Esher.
TOPIC DESCRIPTION: (provided by the speaker)
A craftsman knows his tools intimately. As software developers, we spend hours a day in our primary authoring tool -- our IDE. Saving time and being more productive doesn't just mean learning the code-generating wizards; it means mastering some of the lowest-level concepts of the tool itself. In this presentation, I'll demonstrate how to begin mastering your IDE.
During the demonstration, I'll cover:
- Help
- Mylyn (Task-Focused Development)
- Workbench Navigation
- Keyboard Shortcuts
The goal of this presentation is to show you ways to become more productive with Eclipse-based IDEs such as CFEclipse and ColdFusion Builder
