When: Thursday, Jan 17, 12:00pm EST (GMT-5) (What time is that for you? See http://www.timeanddat... which shows it at EST, and you can choose your city from the list offered to see your time.)

Meeting URL: http://experts.acroba...
Duration: Approx. 1 hour
Meeting will be recorded. URL will be posted after meeting on the Meetup Message Board (in the first msg)

We'll have two speakers on Jan 17, and both will be previews of the upcoming CFUnited Europe event (http://europe.cfunite...) being held March 12-13th in London. These preview talks will be about half the duration of the full hour-long sessions, giving a taste of what the full session would cover.

First up will be Kevin Roche on "Fusebox Scaffolding". I'll have more on the 6pm speaker later in a separate entry.

Description (provided by the speaker):

A 20-30 minute preview of my full session, where I'd give an introduction on how to use the new scaffolding plugin for Fusebox. You can read more about scaffolding in Fusebox at Kevin's category on the subject in his blog, http://www.objectivea....

About Kevin Roche:

Kevin is an IT veteran of 25+ years who's worked with ColdFusion since 1995. Now Technical Director of Objective Internet Ltd. (http://www.objectivei..., a UK firm specialising in CF, he is also manager of the Thames Valley CFUG.

Notices:

PLEASE NOTE: when you login to the Connect room (the experts.acrobat.com/cfmeetup link above) to view the meeting, PLEASE LOGIN AS A GUEST. Do NOT attempt to use your meetup.com username/password. The login screen presented there has no connection to meetup.com. And if you have a real Connect account, don't use that either. Just sign in as a guest. It's just not worth the time to try to track who RSVPs and add them manually as participants in each meeting. You have no fewer features as a guest as when you would login with your own account. Thanks.

As always, we do appreciate folks RSVPing if they plan to come (using the link on this email or at the meetup site), though it's not mandatory and it's not a commitment. BTW, no need to RSVP if you can't make it nor even explain why you can't. With 1,300+ members, there's really no reason to explain your absence. :-) We'll also appreciate your sharing your feedback after the meeting (also offered via a follow-up email or via a link on the site).

Finally, again, the recording URL will be posted on the Meetup Message Board, which can also be reached directly via http://tinyurl.com/2d...
