"CF 8 Image Manipulation", with Ray Camden

When: Thursday, Mar 13, 12:00pm EDT (GMT-5) (What time is that for you? See this link which shows the time as EDT and you can choose your city from the list offered to see it in your own time.) Meeting URL: http://experts.acroba... Duration: Approx. 1 hour Meeting will be recorded. URL will be posted after meeting at http://recordings.col... We'll have just one speaker on Thursday, Mar 13, at noon, With Ray Camden on "CF8 Image Manipulation". Ray will also be hosting for me, as I'm in London for the CFUnited Europe event. I just feared I may not have connectivity, but Ray was only available to host at noon, so no meeting at 6pm EDT. Description: (provided by the speaker) This session will talk about the new image manipulation features in ColdFusion 8. We will discuss the features as well as look at some real work examples. Speaker: Raymond Camden is the owner of Camden Media, Inc, a web development and training company. A long time ColdFusion user, Raymond has worked on numerous ColdFusion books including the ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit and has contributed to the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update and the ColdFusion Developers Journal. He also presents at numerous conferences and contributes to online webzines. He founded many community web sites including CFLib.org, ColdFusionPortal.org, ColdFusionCookbook.org and is the author of open source applications, including the popular BlogCFC (www.blogcfc.com) blogging application. Raymond can be reached at his blog (www.coldfusionjedi.com) or via email at [masked]. He is the happily married proud father of three kids and is somewhat of a Star Wars nut. RECORDING: Again, the meeting will be recorded, and the recording URL will be posted after the meeting at http://recordings.col.... LOGGING IN: When you login to the Connect room (the experts.acrobat.com/cfmeetup link above) to view the meeting, PLEASE USE THE "LOGIN AS GUEST" option, and use your real name, but do NOT attempt to use your meetup.com username/password. The login screen presented there has no connection to meetup.com. And if you have a real Connect account, don't use that either. Just sign in as a guest. It's just not worth the time to try to track who RSVPs and add them manually as participants in each meeting. You have no fewer features as a guest as when you would login with your own account. Thanks. RSVP: As always, we do appreciate folks RSVPing if they plan to come (using the link on this email or at the meetup site), though it's not mandatory and it's not a commitment. BTW, no need to RSVP if you can't make it nor even explain why you can't. With 1,300+ members, there's really no reason to explain your absence. :-) We'll also appreciate your sharing your feedback after the meeting (also offered via a follow-up email or via a link on the site).
