What sort of change would you like to see in the world?

I want to use communication to help inspire people to live their lives in a way which is more vibrant, engaged and healing for themselves, those around them and life on Earth.

What are you doing to achieve it? Are you working with a particular organisation or group? Are there any projects you're working on that you'd like to share?

I specialise in communication in the environmental and social space including agriculture, climate change , sustainability and the not for profit secotr. My work entails communications strategy, public relations and freelance journalism. I work across audio, video, print and online platforms. In a former life, as ABC Radio National's environment specialist, I presented and produced Earthbeat, a weekly environment program, for eight years.

What are your favourite organisations, projects or campaigns that are making a positive impact in the world?

I am the principal of de Blas Communications, a business I founded in 2008 to meet the communications needs of organisations committed to creating a better society, that are inspired to restore, imagine and build a sustainable future.
