Most of the systemic problems in the world (political, economic, environmental) will only be properly addressed by changing attitudes in the developed world first, since otherwise we cannot expect significant change in the less developed world. My use of the term "world" can also cover the fact that every country has components of both worlds.
In addition to working at the big end of town, I also like to offer my skills to support community development.
My main work experience has been with information technologies in general and knowledge management in particular, and so can see the potential for change through the ability of communities to connect.
I'm a researcher, strategist and innovator with a keen interested in understanding how resource companies compete in a rapidly changing business environment. I'm also interested in helping the communities directly impacted by the resources boom.
