Dallas Tea Party: Report on April 15 and Planning for July 4

My personal opinion is that we need to be a very visible part of the Tea Party movement... because there are so many people who are starting to get interested in politics but don't like the 2 choices that they think they have. We need to be there passing out literature, talking to people, etc. We also need to have as many speakers from the libertarian party as possible. (I am working on that front). This is made more possible by having people involved in the planning of the tea parties.

I also like the idea of working to have a local teaparty (at a different time of day than the Dallas Mega Tea Party). I know that the Collin County Republican were the ones who organized the local April 15th ones. What do y'all think?

On Tuesday, May 12, Grassroots Citizens of Dallas County will be hosting the organizers of the DALLAS TEA PARTY to hear a report on the April 15th event and a preview of what they have coming up on Independence Day.

When: Tuesday, May 12th @ 7:00 pm

After the presentation, the Dallas Tea Party organizing committees will get together in breakout sessions for their after-action reports and to begin planning for July 4th.
