Collin County Justice Center (map)
Fusion Center (n): A Fusion Center is a terrorism prevention and response center that was started as a joint project between the Department of Homeland Security and the US Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs between 2003 and 2007.
Concerned about what has resulted from the enactment of the U.S. PATRIOT Act and how it affects your rights to free speech and privacy? Then Join our friends from the Collin County Articles of Freedom for a tour of the North Texas Fusion Center. There will be time reserved for Q&A with Kelley Stone, Director of Homeland Security in Collin County - so prepare a list of questions in advance!
Park in the lot by the 3 flags and proceed under the archway. Enter the building to the right and proceed to the Sheriff’s office. Inform someone that you are there for the 9:00 scheduled tour of the Fusion Center as part of the Articles of Freedom-Collin County group.
Arrive a few minutes early so that we may begin promptly at 9:00. I would like for us to have plenty of time for Q&A as I hope that we will receive a lot of good information from Kelley Stone. We want to promote a good dialogue with him and all of our law enforcement officials.
I will appreciate your RSVP on your ability to attend this tour. I've been told the facilities for the Fusion Center portion of the building is small so, I would like to be able to inform them of approximately how many attendees they can expect so that our experience will be smooth.
