Yes, I've been hiking at least once a week (except during the winter). With the weather turning warm so early this year, I have already done some great hikes - Sky Pond via Lake Haiyaha, Fern Lake Trailhead up to Bear Lake, and Hallett's Peak have been my favorites so far this year. I like to hike at a moderate pace without a lot of stopping, except for an occasional photo op. (At the end of the day I probably average about 30 - 35 minutes per mile, including all stops.)
Yes, that would be no problem.
Yes. I have been hiking alone for over a year now, so I have no problem packing all my own necessities.
I am a Colorado native and currently live in Estes Park. I love to hike and snowshoe.
I love their philosophy - hike at your own pace and meet up at key points on the trail.
