For the safety and comfort of hikers meeting new people in far places, your profile MUST contain an identifiable photo of you (no pets, kids, flowers, etc) and at least your first name. Otherwise you may be removed from the group. Is this acceptable?

This hiking and snowshoeing group is geared towards those who hike often, get regular aerobic activity and like to have fun. Does this sound appropriate for you?

It should work for me. I hike quite a bit in a variety of settings, from long, flat walks to peakbagging and the meetups I've seen this group do are exactly the kind I like to do. I look forward to being a part of things.

When we travel distances we sometimes arrange carpools. Are you comfortable with contributing money for gas or park entrance fees to a driver?

If you repeatedly sign up for events and don't show up, you may be removed from the group. Please be courteous to others, and unlist yourself as soon as possible if you have signed up and cannot attend. Is this acceptable?

All outdoor activities involve risk. You must be responsible for yourself and your well-being on any hike. You must also bring adequate clothing, water and food for the hike and accept the risks of hiking in the wilderness. Do you agree with this?

I've been living in Fort Collins for a few years now and I love getting out to the mountains any time that I can. I'd like to branch out to more areas that I haven't really experienced, like RMNP's Wild Basin and the I-70 corridor
