Freemasonry for Men and Women in Colorado Springs, Colorado Meetup

On May 14th, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. a study group will be held at the Co-Masonic Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated. Please arrive at 5:45 P.M. so the discussion can begin promptly at 6:00 P.M.

Due to weather, April's topic will be given in May and it will be conducted by Brother Katie Cumsille on Freemasonry and Music. Bro. Cumsille will focus on the how music is an essential part of every culture and its effect on the human mind. After a short Lecture a discussion and debate by all members of the study group will follow.

For as long as Man has kept written record there has been music. Why is music so innately woven in Man's construct both outwardly and inwardly? This discussion will focus on understanding Man and Music and how it relates to Freemasonry.

This group, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.

The frequencies of sound have an effect on matter in the universe.. espescially living bodies. listening to music is similar to eating or intaking something into the body. It is good to ask ourself what we are listening to and when because it affects us.
