On March 12, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. a study group will be held at the Masonic Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated. Please arrive at 5:45 P.M. so the discussion can begin promptly at 6:00 P.M.
March's topic will be conducted by Brother Katie Cumsille on Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle and Freemasonry. After a short Lecture a discussion and debate by all members of the study group will follow.
The Heisenberg Principle asserts that the position and momentum of a particle cannot be simultaneously known. If this principle is applied to knowledge and understanding can it be possible that Man is limited in what He can know? This group will focus on studying the perimeters (if any) that Man, being bound by matter, has.
This group, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.
