Intro to Angular.js

Sorry for the late notice, folks.  We found a room at the Old Colorado City Library for this month–right around the corner from Bomb Bomb where we met the last couple times.

Jerad Bitner is going to give an overview of Angular.js, the popular open source web app framework from Google.

Sorry, no beers allowed at the library, but I'm sure a few people would be interested in heading to Thunder & Buttons or Front Range before or after.

Hope to see you there!

    Hey all,

I've uploaded the resulting application to github here:

For any future demos or shared code, I've created an organization for us all to use:

Do you want us to send you our github names so you can add them to the org?

If you would like added, you can send me your github user name and I can add you, or you can send a pull request to the existing (or any future) repo and any merged pull request I think will add you automatically :)

Is anyone planning on grabbing some food before or afterwards?

I wish I could go, but I'm going to the Open Source Meetup which is the same night.

Just a note, but I'll be mostly doing a [live demo]( I'll go through a real-world example of building a quick AngularJS website using [Yeoman]( We'll add a few pages to show the router, and then pull in some data from Meetup using their REST API and talk about different ways to do this. Then we'll take a look at directives and the data binding features. Feel free to ask questions and discuss as we go through everything. Should be fun!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
