    Hi Wendy,
Please do register on crowdrise. We are hoping that most people who plan to come will register ahead of time so we'll better be able plan for the event. We look forward to seeing you and your canine companion on Sunday. Thanks!

Lisa -- I will definitely be there but am not on any social network. So, I can't figure out how to register unless I sign up with Crowdrise? Should I just pay at the event? Just wanted you to know I'll definitely be there. Will be bringing a sweet doggie, too, unless someone says otherwise. She's is UBER sweet.

Ok, I signed up and have my first donation. Do I do a separate $15 for the packet? So it shows?? I will continue to fund-raise, but wasn't sure if the $15 needed to be separate?? Thanks! :)

How long is the walk and do you register by donating or joining the team?

    March 23, 2014

    • Lynn

The walk will be approximately 1 mile with the option to extend it via many of the park's trails. You can register by joining the team. As a team member, you have option to set your own fundraising goal. Those that can't make it but still want to support the cause can simply donate. Thanks!

    Hi Hailey,
Thanks for your interest in the walk! There won't be any farmed animals there because the transportation and unfamiliar environment would be stressful for them. I also doubt that park rules and regulations would permit it. However, you and your family are welcome to come and take a tour of the sanctuary where you can meet the animals and learn their stories. You can schedule a visit on the website, peacefulprairie.org.

Will there be any farm animals there? That might be a way to get my carnivorous extended family there since my nephew is obsessed with farm animals.
