July potluck with special guest, Will Tuttle of The World Peace Diet!!

Oh man, you have NO idea how disappointed I am to miss this special gathering! I will just be returning from a trip and not yet back in Boulder but Adena and Greg have kindly offered to host Will Tuttle for this very special intimate gathering with one of the greatest leaders and thinkers of our time.  I am not being melodramatic when I say that Will is the Jesus of our time and movement. (and i say that in a non religious way being the agnostic that i am;-)

Will's talk: "Beyond Meat and Dairy" is so appropriate for Boulder, land of "happy meat and milk" .

Will's book, The World Peace Diet, (imho) is by far one of the most significant books written for our generation and generations to come. I cannot more highly recommend it. I don't know why I stopped, but for the first year of so of the meetup I would read different passages from Will's book and they always set the tone and message of the meetup in a way I couldn't do. Sooooo, with this introduction I encourage all of you to make this special intimate gathering and learn with someone who will go down in history/herstory as one of the most important teachers/thinkers of our time.

 Can someone please record?!

There  will be a $10 donation which will all go to Will for his travel and time. No one will be turned away for lack of funds so please either let me or Adena know if that is a problem. I'll also have lots of Tofurky products (quiches, pot pies and other goodies) for everyone to get hefty samples of.

For the potluck part-

Let's get together with others in the veg community to share some great food and meet new friends

You do not  have to be vegan or even vegetarian to attend, but we bet you will want to be after you eat all the fabulous food that is out there (and meet the greatest folks as well).

Please bring a plant based dish (no animal products, including honey) to feed 8, with recipe card and ingredients and your own table setting and serving utensils for your dish (to cut down on waste). Feel free to call or email if you have any questions or need directions, recipes etc.

Looking forward to meeting/ reconnecting with everyone and building a great  Compassionate, Healthy and Sustainable Community! Call or email with any questions.

Having Will show up and share with us is just an example of his unyielding devotion to the vegan movement and its immense importance to our planet.

I agree Lisa. And thanks again so much to Yvonne, Greg, Laura and Rick for cooking up all the Tofurky as well coordinating with me. And to Dave and Nancy for helping with clean up. What a great community.

I can't believe that Will Tuttle is going to join us--don't want to get all goofy, but it truly is an honor.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
