Celebrate Summer at Our Potluck Picnic in the Park

Let's have a picnic!  We're having a joint meetup with Denver Vegans, outdoors at a pavilion they've reserved at Bates/Logan Park, just over the Denver/Englewood boundary in Englewood.  This park is spacious but not as heavily used (or noisy) as some other parks.  It has a playground next to the pavilion, and lots of lawn space, so invite friends and family members to come with you!  There is plenty of seating at picnic tables, all under cover in case of rain.  Gather at 4:00, eat at 4:30.

Bring your favorite vegan picnic food--no meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs or honey--to serve 8, with recipe card or list of ingredients, serving utensil, and your own reusable table service. (We'll have some plates and plasticware on hand if you forget, but want to make this a minimal-waste event.)  Alcohol is not permitted.  This park has only one pavilion, so you'll have no trouble finding us, and there will be no one grilling meat nearby!  Speaking of grills, if you have one and want to bring it, please do so.

The park may be accessed from either S. Logan St. or E. Bates Ave.  There is a parking lot at Logan & Cornell, as well as on-street parking around the park.  Donations will be accepted to cover the pavilion reservation fee; $5 per person suggested.

Would anyone like to carpool?  Hope to see you there!

Yes, dogs are welcome. The agreement we signed to reserve the park pavilion states that "dogs must be on leash at all times and owners must clean up after their pets." GMO petition also fine.
