Through the Tofurky group at the Animal Rights Conference in DC, in June.
I had practiced many diets, many very plant bases, but something wasn't clicking, and I wasn't consistent. I started reading some of the veggie magazines and realized that I could no longer justify eating meat. Never again. I've cared deeply for animals my whole life-- this was nothing new, I just had to finally accept that I was no longer going to contribute to animal abuse.
Visiting animal shelters or habitats, looking for ways to actively help, get the word out. Also, the Rocky Mountain Park idea is wonderful. All is good!

A vegan diet and lifestyle suits me to the core. I prefer a 'kind diet'. My passion is animal welfare and I'm excited to meet fellow vegans and discover ways I can be more of an activist.
