Introduction
Hi, also just joined the Denver group. I'm honored to be here. Been a vegetarian for over 25 years, almost vegan, slowly going in that directions.
how did you hear about the boulder vegan meetup?
I saw Ann, one of the organizers of this and the Denver vegan group, at Nepal Cuisine in Boulder every Monday when they have a vegan lunch buffet. I finally asked her if she belonged to a meetup group and she told me about this one and the Denver group.
what made you decide to go Vegan/ explore a more compassionate lifestyle?
I grew up in South Dakota eating a meat and potatoes diet. Hunting and fishing was also a common activity. I gave up the hunting and fishing during High School, killing animals no longer made any sense to me. While I was in college my father died of a heart attack and that is when I started the process of switching to a vegetarian diet. I am still vegetarian, not quite vegan but slowly moving towards a vegan diet.
What kind of activities would you like to see the group participate in?
Potlucks, restaurants, cooking parties, cooking classes and demonstrations, lectures, speakers, meetups for fun like games (board and card).

I see you have a couple of kitties...I have two brothers myself....I call them the Blues Brothers, Jakie and Elwood.
