from my friend Betsy <3
i decided to become a vegetarian after a nutrition class that i took in college. (9yrs ago) my teacher was displaying the different grades of meat and discussing the affects meat may have on your body i was completely disgusted. and decided that it would be a healthier lifestyle for me to discontinue my meat consumption and create a healthier, happier body! i had also thought that dairy was affecting my body in a negative way causing eczema (extremely dry skin) so i gave up dairy for awhile too (about 6 yrs) i have since starting eating dairy again and it does not seem to be affecting my skin negatively. although i am not vegan, i am a vegetarian, i am very familiar with veganism the eating habits and the lifestyle! i do believe it is an excellent lifestyle choice! personally, what works best for me is to listen to my body and give it what will make it the healthiest and happiest possible.
yoga, hikes, runs/walks, biking, potluck dinners...
