Hi, my name is Vincent. I'm a Yogi who became vegetarian in March & I am now making the transition to vegan. I hope to meet other vegans, share resources & help make plant-based diets the dietary standard for the U.S.A. & eventually the whole world.

how did you hear about the boulder vegan meetup?

Surfing web to find local vegan groups.

what made you decide to go Vegan/ explore a more compassionate lifestyle?

It was sort of a calling. I felt the need to explore this idea again after failing to go veg years before. The I read Melanie Joy's book "Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows." She revealed the horrors of factory farming and that made it easy to start my transition.

What kind of activities would you like to see the group participate in?

Yoga. Barefoot running. Meditation. Recipe sharing. Social lobbying.

on your veg journey, do you have specific challenges that you'd like help with

Welcome Vincent! We look forward to meeting you and seeing what events you have planned for our fine vegan group. Maybe sometime you can meet my hubby Vincent who is also a yoga instructor. You may both have things to share with each other. See you sometime after our juice fast!
