how did you hear about the boulder vegan meetup?

what made you decide to go Vegan/ explore a more compassionate lifestyle?

I currently maintain an organic, grain free, sugar free lacto ovo vegetarian discipline. I am all for political efforts to end cruelty to animals, change food labeling requirements, eat locally and sustainably and bring awareness about the mass misinformation of "healthy" food by government and corporate influences. No one diet recommendation could or will ever fit for all people on the planet. Each must determine for themselves what is best. There's too much genetic and cultural and local food availability diversity.

What kind of activities would you like to see the group participate in?

Incorporating verifiable nutrition and health science in conjunction with vegan animal rights politics.

on your veg journey, do you have specific challenges that you'd like help with

I've been a strict vegetarian for over 40 years... and vegan for some of that time. Nowadays, I enjoy researching food, diet and nutrition, especially as it pertains to organic, grain free, sugar free, low carb high fat diets for health.
