I still think Vitamin Cottage is a great place to shop. I do take a B12 supplement and have seen many of Greger's talks on the importance of it.
I study a great deal of nutrition. I felt slighted because they were advertising meat and making the veg diet look bad in my opinion. I have read Vitamin Cottage magazines and they say you need complete proteins on a veg diet (combining grains and beans) which has been proven false years ago.
I think they were misleading people that don't know much about plant based nutrition
that taking on a vegan/vegetarian or plant based diet isn't possible w/o animal products.
I think the signs should have said "good source of fiber, nutrients, and compassion friendly" on the
vegan products and "no fiber, cholesterol, and cruelty" on the animal products.
