Lisa and Travis you are so amazing! Thank you for bringing us together! It was a wonderful event, great to see old friends and meet new friends. Thank you so much for all you do for the community! :  )

hi everyone,
last night we had a great celebration with massive quantities of amazing food and wonderful community. and all those veg kids! ;-)  i added a bunch of  photos and didn't even get all the food and people.

the space seemed to really work out and allowed for good connecting and comfortable places to eat. i appreciate all the feedback i got last night and hope to incorporate some of the input to continue to make this meetup a great community gathering place. thank you again to travis for securing the location, and to all the wonderful volunteers who came early, and stayed late, to make it a seamless event.

we didn't quite make expenses so if you attended and forgot to pay please let me or travis know for next time.

look forward to announcements for our upcoming documentary/dinner meetup, our annual cookie exchange, a caroling/potluck meetup and all kinds of other fun stuff.
as always, please let me know what you would like to see out of this meetup.

i hope everyone has compassionate/sustainable  holidays with their families ( birth or chosen). and remember, we need never be apologetic for our compassionate ways. we can stand strong in living our values of mercy, justice, sustainability and compassion. don't let anyone tell you otherwise.;-)

your vegan pal,

Lisa Shapiro
