Some of you may have already seen this on A Vegan Life list serv. But for those Boulderites who occasionally make it to Broomfield - you won't be disappointed. If you are traveling near Broomfield and Westminster, you must check out a new Thai restaurant called Chang Thai that accommodates vegans completely. Why? Because the owner/chef, Tong, is VEGAN! She can make any dish with soy meat, tofu or just veggies. She uses hardly any oil. When I was there for lunch with 4 other vegan friends, 3 of them ordered another meal to take home with them, because it was that good!.Tong is very careful to clean off the grill before preparing any non-meat dishes and she's trained her staff to do the same.Details:155 Nickel St., Broomfield, CO 80020The website doesn't show their lunch menu, but they do have one with a soup choice as the first course. They are located by the entrance to 237 off 120th in Broomfield. When you turn north onto Nickel it's just across the street from the bowling alley on your left. They still have up temporary signs on the little building. When you have a chance, check it out. And, if you like it, please tell your friends.
