Help us spread the vegan message to CU students!

This Wednesday the 16th from 10 am to 2 pm, the CU vegan student group, the Vegan Justice League (VJL), has a table at an upcoming event called the CU Sustainable Food Fair. Unfortunately, we are the *only* vegan table at an entire event dedicated to sustainable eating. Because this event takes place when many VJLers are in class, we are unable to get more than 1 or 2 of our members there at any given time.

We hope that the Colorado vegan community will be able to help us. We would love to have a strong, positive presence at this event, which reaches out to so many CU students. We are particularly excited about the fact that participation in our event is mandatory for many fraternity and sorority students, which is a demographic that we've persistently had trouble reaching out to. We believe that it is critical for vegans to be represented at an event that is based on teaching people how to eat sustainably.

I think this event will be rewarding because we will be telling a lot of young people about veganism for the first time. We hope to get several volunteers from the CO vegan community to help us plaster our vegan message across this event. Please join us! We are a positive, friendly bunch of vegan CU students who love to meet other CO vegans!

The event will take place next to the fountain behind the University Memorial Center building (other side of the Euclid Ave entrance). In the case of rain, the event will move to the Carlson Gym. I could give directions to these places, but Google maps would probably do a better job than I could.

Please let me know if you can make it!
