Announcing a new Meetup for Columbia Meetup Book Club!

What: Book Discussion -- How to Survive Spiritually in our Times by Harold Klemp

When: June 14,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: This event is sponsored by my other Meetup website the Silver Spring Eckankar Meetup Group. I'm listing it here because it's a book discussion of a different type. The Columbia Meetup Book Club primarily deals with novels, this event is a discussion of a spiritual, non-fiction book called, "How to Survive Spiritually in Our Times" written by Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader of Eckankar -- an ancient spiritual path. This book consists of three elements: stories, tools and techniques to help you thrive spiritually. Harold Klemp's stories are actually your stories of your heartwarming, extraordinary experiences such as the small miracles and gifts from God that happen in your life everyday. A master storyteller, Harold Klemp weaves these three elements into a golden fabric to help you see deeper truths within and apply them in your life now. He speaks directly to Soul -- that divine, eternal spark -- the real you. The survivor.

This book discussion is usually attended by local students of Eckankar but the public is invited too and a special welcome is extended to Meetup group members who may participate or just listen. Although the book discussion is ongoing, the book is such that jumping in the middle is not a problem as it might be for a novel. For more information see:
