For this event, we will venture out to Ohio's largest corn maze which has over 11.5 miles of trails and is over 10 feet tall! There are other fun, fall activities as well including hayrides, pumpkin patches, petting zoo, and corn cannons! We can meet in town to carpool together.... details to follow! :)

If you are interested, there is currently a groupon posted for the place as well: http://www.groupon.com/deals/adventure-acres-columbus?c=dnb&p=1

I look forward to seeing you there!

Barbara and I arrived a little early to the farm, and although we waited around to see if someone might be there to greet us newcomers, we didn't spot anyone. At about 5:00 we had our tickets and went on into the area where the maze is. We both enjoyed navigating through the maze with the help of the map and looking for all of the 18 checkpoints. It was getting too dark to try the Farm Scene Investigation search in the lower half of the maze, but we were okay with that. We went on a hayride, a very relaxing end to the evening. So, we missed the group but had fun on our own.

We arrived at the site at 4:30 and waited for someone to greet us but didn't see anyone, so we went into the maze at around 5:00. Getting through the maze with the use of the map and searching for the 18 checkpoints was a blast. We went on a hayride afterwards and it was a relaxing and fun way to end the day. Since it was dark and kind of a long evening we drove back home right after that, stopping at a Cracker Barrel for some late dinner. We enjoyed the evening.

They said there are no lights in the maze and sundown is at 7:00pm.

I didn't even think about bringing a flashlight. Hopefully I can find one.

Ummm I just called and they said we had to bring our own flashlights? Is there an info sheet I am not aware of?

I know it's last minute, but if anyone is interested in leaving sooner and finding a place in Dayton to watch the OSU game first and then head to the maze, let me know, I'm thinking of leaving around 2:15.

No 3 wk old babies or 911 calls on this trip! No one gets left behind in the "maize" either. ;) In case you missed the email, we will be meeting at Target in the Lennox Town Center at 4:45. See you all soon!

I'm amazed they called 911! I mean you can just go through the corn in an emergency.

I love that they offered them free tickets to go again. That's like offering the girl who got her feet cut off at Six Flags tickets to ride again. I'm planning on using my GPS app to see how many circles I walk in. This could be the longest hike ever!

Joe, If I have a 3 week old baby, should I bring it to the corn maze event? Or is this corn maze more newborn friendly?
