In 2003, we, the Poker Meetup Group, recognized a need to network together as many of our private poker games as is possible.
Also, in 2003, as the Columbus Poker Meetup Group was established, it was recognized that in order to be successful, this group needed strong local sponsorship & support. We are currently looking for bars and other food places to sponsor local tournaments for our members.

That was then and this is now... July 2008 Evan takes over and puts a new emphasis on local player/host networking. I have 2 years experience in hosting my own home games and playing other venues. I want to share that experience with other local people with the same interests.
