The Vauxhall Gay Life Drawing Group (formerly the Battersea life drawing group) provides artists with the opportunity to draw the nude male figure from direct observation. The aim of these workshops is to explore the boundaries of drawing the nude figure where artists can study the male figure as an active and sexual being.
Drawing boards are provided but members are advised to provide their own pencils, paper, & charcoal. The workshops are informal, friendly and relaxed. The workshop starts with 5-10 minute ‘warm-up’ poses.
The fee is £10 per person. If you like the workshop, please invite friends to come and take part too. Many members have a drink and discussion downstars in the bar after the drawing workshop.
How to get there:
Tube Kenninton/Vauxhall or Oval. Mainline trains: Vauxhall station is 8 min walk.
