A Study of Freemasonry and Morality (Sept. 14, 2013)

On September 14, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Centerville Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated.

September's topic will be conducted by Brother Matias Cumsille on Freemasonry and Morality. After a short lecture a discussion and debate by the group will follow.

Morality has been the study for many centuries of philosophers and the simple man. What is it? How do I define morality? Am I moral? Freemasonry has always sought for Initiates of high moral character; what does this mean and why is it an important quality of every Freemason? Join us as we study our own personal perception of morality and its necessity in Masonry.

Join us for this month's study group as we examine ourselves under our own microscope.

This group, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
