Science, Metaphysics and Esotericism: A Study of Freemasonry (Nov. 9, 2013)

On November 9, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Centerville Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated.

November's topic will be conducted by Brother Matias Cumsille on Science, Metaphysics and Esotericism: How can Freemasonry promote all three subjects? After a short lecture a discussion and debate by the group will follow.

In Freemasonry one is encouraged to study science, metaphysics and esotericism. Are these three subjects the same or different, united or opposed? This month's Study will focus on how our society and Freemasonry views them and how they can become an important part in our search for Truth.

This group for men and women, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.
