The Power of Parables and Freemasonry (December 7, 2013)

On December 7, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Centerville Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated.

November's topic will be conducted by Brother Deborah Dilley on The Power of the Parable. After a short lecture a discussion and debate by the group will follow.

Parables have been used throughout history to teach universal truths to humanity.  Do these stories have only one truth to impart, or could they also be the gateway to not only the lower mysteries, but also the higher?

This group for men and women, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
