On October 11th, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Centerville Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated. Please arrive at 3:45 P.M. so the discussion can begin promptly at 4:00 P.M.
October’s topic will be conducted by Brother Jennifer Klenk on Freemasonry and Fairy Tales: Do fairy tales exist? After a short lecture, a discussion and debate by the group will follow.
From campfire ghost stories to folklore, fairy tales are mystical treasures retold and passed down through the generations. Fairy tales are not mere bedtime stories meant to pacify inquisitive minds. Each story contains the key to a greater meaning tucked deep within one's psyche. Join the Masonic Philosophical Society as we unlock the hidden Masonic/psychological themes behind some of the most popular and more obscure fantastical tales.
Join us for this month's study group!
This group, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.
