From the trailers this movie seems pretty interesting. I have heard it's like a mix between Die Hard and Air Force One so it should at least be entertaining. The movie will start at 18:10 but I will be there from around 17:45 waiting near the entrance to the cinema.

    Film Description:

Gerard Butler must save the US President in this bullet-strewn action movie! When The White House is attacked by a terrorist mastermind posing as a foreign delegate, America is brought to its knees! Suddenly the skies are filled with invading aircraft and a national crisis unfolds. President Asher (Aaron Eckhart) is himself taken hostage by the villain known as Kang (Rick Yune) - and threatened with execution if the terrorists' demands are not met. Anxiously keeping track of events are the Secret Service, headed up by Lynne Jacobs (Angela Bassett), and Acting President Trumbull (Morgan Freeman). As they come to terms with this devastating, shocking attack on America, they're unexpectedly contacted by Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler). Mike ended up being trapped inside The White House during the time of the attack - and becomes a secret weapon in the struggle to save the President. A man haunted by terrible memories, this is Mike's chance at redemption - and he's the only hope anyone's got!

Starring: Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Ashley Judd

    Director: Antoine Fuqua

    Genre: Action

It's not a bad film, just not a great one. Though you could tell that from the trailer...

I saw the movie yesterday and thought it was pretty good. Sometimes (especially in the beginning) the CGI looked a bit crap but overall I enjoyed it.
