Stamford Comedy Improv Class - Intermediate

  • Government Center Cafeteria

888 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT (map)

  • Ask at the front desk when you sign in. We're usually in the 4th fl. cafeteria, but sometimes elsewhere. Also, park in the building. There's plenty.
  • Hello there!

Comedy Improv is very fun and energizing, AND there are a few important skills to master. We focus more heavily on the skills aspect in Intermediate so you need to be at the appropriate level to attend.

Please keep in mind that Intermediate is different from Beginner improv class, and you will receive more in-depth critiques and do much more scene work.  There is the expectation that you have mastered the basics of improv so you can act in scenes with your peers on the same level.

Intermediate classes are only open to those who have taken our beginner classes and have received permission from the instructor to attend.

Feel free to discuss this with the Beginner Class instructor. They have a sense of the basic skills needed to move to Intermediate. You can always keep attending the Beginner Classes until you're ready - they are offered monthly.

    Looking forward to seeing you!

If anyone wants to find a location to hold classes, we're open to continuing. Since this is a Meetup group, we don't have any non-profit documentation. The Meetup group is basically an organizational tool/site where we can make announcements and schedule events for improv. If we can get a new venue that is free and in the Stamford (or lower Fairfield) area, that would be ideal.

That was an automated announcement. For now, there are no classes scheduled.

Is the class still on or is meetup generating this automatically?

If we have non profit status and documentation please let me know. Thx Neetu

All I talked to the contact for the location of toastmasters. They can think of giving us the room provided we have documentation to prove non profit
