Who are your favorite writers and artists and why?

Writers: Grant Morrison (Animal Man, JLA, Doom Patrol), Brad Metzer (Identity Crisis, JLA) and Alan Moore (Swamp Thing, Miracleman, League of Extraordinary Gentleman) Why: They raised the bar and challenged the way people think about superheroes. Artists: Michael Turner (Supergirl, Superman/Batman, Identity Crisis,), Brian Bolland (Natman:Killing Joke, Green Lantern, Camelot 3000), Alex Ross (Kingdom Come) and Frank Miller (early days Daredevil, Wolverine, Ronin, Dark Knight Returns).

What are your 3 favorite comic book characters of all time?

Heroes: Batman, Villains: Joker, Ultra Humanite, Supporting Charcaters: Jim Gordon,

What is your favorite comic story of all time?

Toss Up: Legion of Superheros (Great Darkness Saga) and The Death of Captain Marvel.

Hey there! How about telling us 3 comics or graphic novels that are really floating your boat these days.

Captain America (satifies my need for 24 before the next season), current Fantastic Four by Millar and Hitch, Suicide Squad (super criminals forced to work for the govt, LOVE IT; even better would be a run written by Brad Metzer or Tarentino!).

Cause my wife won't read my comics and discuss!

What Paul S. is saying about this Meetup Group

Hearing the clear differences between DC and Marvel Universes is SO well defined...still waiting on Terry's take on the Image Universe, which is large enough to be considered.
