Check out their web site for more information: http://www.camroseate...

What will we be doing?

Holding posters or helping to hold a huge banner, handing out literature, giving away vegetarian starter kits, DVD's, and other handouts. A person dressed in a chicken suit will walk around with a "Meat is Murder" sign allowing for several people (such as tourists) to take pictures and spread awareness even further. There will be a megaphone playing an edited audio version of "Meet your Meat."

Why this type of demo?

The main objective of this campaign is to get people to look at 'animal products' as more then just food; these were once sentient beings that lived, experienced emotions, and felt. We want people to know about the animal behind the food. We hope this highly contraversial demonstration will get people thinking and talking.

It was very good! Lots of people learned the truth about the cruelty that occurs on factory farms.I'm sure almost everyone will think about that everytime they buy or eat meat. We did make a difference !
    •  I had a great time! It's so good to get together with people that share the same compassion to animals. I can't wait for the next demo...I know we are making a difference!
    •  Wow! It was so great to see so many people show up to speak for the voiceless. After each demo I always feel recharged with positive energy from spending time with others who care so deeply with for all animals.

Such a great cause and what a great day to spread awareness! It was a cold and windy day and we were ready for it. Anothy made a great chicken, daning to the music and holding his sign, "Eat your veggies, not your friends!" Many people wanted a picture with him! About 700 Vegan Outreach booklets given away as well as several DVDs, and Veg Starter Kits from interested people. I think this demonstration made quite a few people think. I only found about 5 booklets on the ground! I was amazed!
