From my first experience I'd have to say CCA is a motivated, loving group of people who are really making a difference for animals. I am proud to be associated with them.

Impressive, to say the least. I had no idea what a group like this would be like. I'm a first timer with much to learn. But looking forward to it!

  • Concerned Citizens for Animals

This is a great group of people who are truly making the lives of animals in the area better. Through their no-kill shelter, feral cat program and donations to pet-owning Meals on Wheels patrons. It is my pleasure to be able to help out.

Spaying and neutering is essential to decreasing this country's euthanasia rate. The vast majority of dogs and cats that are killed in this country are killed because there are more animals than available homes. There is nothing wrong with them other than they don't have a place to live. This is inhumane. Rigorous spay and neuter is the only way out of this horrendous cycle. If you care, please volunteer.

If you want to improve animal welfare in our area and have fun while doing so, don't miss Bark in the Park on October 29, 2011 at Greenville Tech (Pleasantburg Dr.) This is CCA's largest fund raiser of the year. Great opportunity to meet wonderful volunteers and see what CCA is all about! Hope to see you there!

Bottom line: if you love animals, an hour or two of your time each week will be well worth it. Plus, there are so many animals that are abandoned, neglected, or worse. They need our help!
