Do you consider yourself a Humanist?

If by humanism, you mean something like, "Do I try to understand my world in general and my life in particular through the prism of carefully examined and rationally processed human experiences.", then "Yes." If you mean, "Do you find magical thinking and supernaturalism a bit of a giggle and deserving of mockery?", then "I guess." If you then ask, "So you're more a Cancer than a Leo, then?", I'd have to agree. Even though I was born when the moon was between Castor and Pollux. Or something ...

How did you find out about our group?

Meetup search box.

Long time rationalist and humanist who spends 1/2 his life now in the Waltham / Lexington / Concord area. Found a couple of fun outdoorsy kindsa things to do, but always looking to find places and times to meet people who can teach me things.
