The purpose of this group is to inspire people to learn, network and expose themselves to a group of Conscious Entrepreneurs. Conscious Entrepreneurs are defined as individuals and organizations who recognize a social problem and use entrepreneurial principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change. Whereas a business entrepreneur typically measures performance in profit and return, a Conscious entrepreneur assesses success in terms of the impact on society as well as in profit and return. Conscious Entrepreneurs use business models that combine a revenue-generating business with a social-value-generating structure or component. Often, a percentage of revenues are directed towards social causes.Businesses of the 21st century are shifting into a new paradigm, from a traditional capitalistic approach to Conscious Capitalism. In the traditional capitalistic paradigm, profit is the most important aspect of the business. In the Conscious Capitalistic approach, there is a deeper purpose of what the company actually stands for -- providing harmony for all stakeholders, including investors, employees, team leaders, suppliers, community, environment and humanity. Conscious Entrepreneurs operate with this Conscious Capitalistic approach. It is estimated that Conscious Entrepreneurs represent approximately $40 billion in revenue.
